Meet our Founder

Representation matters.

Our non-profit’s name is derived from combining the two forces of “Higher Education” and 
“Grassroots.” Together, these forces combine to personify “representation” in every aspect of our research and consultation strategies. We use a grassroots approach to our research in higher education to exemplify demographic representation between our team and the communities we serve. Accordingly, our team has both personal and professional experiences to conduct research relevant to the racial wealth gap and low-income communities.
